Stylists Join Together to Offer Education

The Leagues Of Extraordinary Stylists started in 2011 as a team of educators that traveled the U.S. to promote the team. The goal was to deliver quality education to students and professionals. After a year of traveling, The League found the need for a stationary location they could offer on going education. The Hair Gym was opened inside the beautiful salon The Beauty Lounge in Brentwood, California.

The Hair Gym currently offers education in hair cutting, styling, hair color, barbering, and make-up, with  all classes focused on every texture of hair. Classes range from a look and learn experience to hands-on with a mannequin or a live model. Classes are not product manufacturer based, rather based on the truth about the hair industry.

The platform artistic team includes Daniel Moses, Richard Britton, Josh Zuniga, Daniel Corbett, Andrew "Duke" Harris, Phil Ketchum, Robin Roberts, Geremy "Gee" Lowe, Joseph Rene and more. Classes are offered every Monday (that's fifty classes per year). To join the Hair Gym it's a one time enrollment fee of $100 and $75 per month membership fee. The next traveling event will be Spring Training Hands-on Education on Monday, March 24 in Alameda, California. This six hour event will include: Barbering presented by Dave Diggs and Q the Barber; Extensions presented by Duke and Brittany Donaldson; UpDo Styling presented by Wanda Floyd and Keisha McAllister; and Color Class presented by Joseph Rene in English and Spanish.
