Ridone, Inc. [Re-done] has been providing cosmetology services to men, women, and children with disabilities and disadvantages in Ventura, Los Angeles and Orange Counties since 1993. The ultimate vision is to provide the full-range of cosmetology services, particularly, hair cuts, with the same "salon" hair stylings the rest of the population receives. This is possible with proper training, station modifications at local salons, and regional cut-a-thon events (much like this one), and in [modified] salon mobile units where people can receive beauty care such as haircuts, and manicures.

The Samaritan Center is a daytime drop-in that has been providing on-site services since 1994. Serving approximately 200 clients per month, six days a week, the Center is the only facility of this kind in Simi Valley. www.thesamaritancenterofsimivalley.org
