Updating Licensee Contact Information

The State of Ohio will soon be moving to a

new statewide web-based licensing system

for all professional licensing agencies. Over

the next several months, the Board’s current

licensing data will be converted to the new

system and pro les for each of the Board’s

licensees will be cre-

ated. The new system

will provide online

services for renewing,

and request for services

such as, updating an

address, certi cation to another state, and

submitting applications for new licenses and


Certain information is required under Ohio

Law for persons issued a license in the State

of Ohio1. The new web-based licensing

system will require this information to create

a user pro le, which will allow licensees and

applicants to access on-line services.

The Board recommends that active licens-

ees log on to the current system and verify

or add any missing pro le information. Li-

censees can access their pro le though the

Board’s website

and enter

their User ID and Password.

The following information is

required for personal licenses,

salon and tanning facility li-

censes in order to create a new

pro le in the new system.

• Birthdate: MM/DD/YYYY

• Email Address: (If you do not have a val-

id email address, free accounts are available

through various online providers, including

Google, Yahoo!, Outlook, and AOL.)

• Current Mailing Address

NOTICE - Chrome will not work properly

with the online website. You must use a com-

patible browser such as MS Internet Explorer

or Safari.


The Board recommends that
