Education is Key in the Beauty Industry

With two floors of hair, skin and nail exhibitions, classes and a lineup of top exhibitors the Long Beach International Beauty Expo (Expo Latino), July 11-12, 2010 will provide two days of nonstop action in Long Beach, California.

Haircolor specialists from Wella and Clairol, hairstyling guru Samy, Enzo Milano, Wahl Clippers, and more will delight the audience with spectacular main stage presentations. The event will also host over 300 exhibition booths of products including Cosmoprof, Sally Beauty Supply, services and equipment and added hands on workshops in makeup application, foil placement and hair styling.

The 2010 event will celebrate not just the glamour and diversity of the beauty industry but also focus on the technical, educational and creative skills of stylists worldwide. “Education is the key in the industry. It motivates and inspires. It keeps the outlook fresh no matter where you are coming from,” reflects Juan Dior, CEO and tradeshow producer.

The show has grown exponentially in the recent years proving just how powerful the passion for the beauty industry can be. “We did a lot of in-house work in the beginning and were 100 percent hands on. It allowed us to build a strong rapport with the early exhibitors. We’ve seen small startup companies grow along with us because Expo Latino gave them the opportunity to participate in a world-class event,” remarks Dior.
