Mermaid Hair Extensions Pink Hair for Hope

Pink Hair
Stylist, Jackie Miller, of Mermaid Hair Extensions, applies a pink hair extension to Bonnie Wahlin, cancer survivor, at the Race for the Cure event recently held in Seattle.

A local company helped support a great cause and added a little flair to a recent fundraiser. How did they do it?

For a $10 donation to the Puget Sound Affiliate of Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, participants received on-site professional application of a fuchsia pink hair extension, courtesy of Mermaid Hair Extensions, at the Puget Sound Komen Race for the Cure, which was recently held in Seattle.

The Komen Puget Sound Race for the Cure is one of the largest and most influential fundraising events in the state of Washington. Each year, more than 15,000 race participants and thousands of event spectators, supporters, sponsors and volunteers join the global fight against breast cancer.

“Mermaid Hair Extensions is passionate about the Race for the Cure and is delighted to contribute to the positive spirit of survivors, friends, and family who have undoubtedly known someone who has been touched by breast cancer,” exclaimed Cindy Reynolds, owner of Mermaid Hair Extensions salon, located along the shore of Lake Washington in beautiful downtown Kirkland.

Pink Hair for Hope strives to give women a unique opportunity to use fashion and
self-expression as a way to find solutions through increased breast cancer awareness and research.
